The experience I’ve had with Smeg products has been incredibly disappointing and trust-breaking. I purchased a 3-piece built-in set from the Smeg branch in Alsancak, Izmir, and shockingly, each item arrived with a defect.
Most frustrating of all was the hob, which developed visible black marks on its cream surface after just a few uses. I was promised a replacement, and after a long wait, the new unit finally arrived — only to discover that it was also faulty. This time, I was told that it would not be replaced again.
To make matters worse, the installation process was chaotic. The service team kept delaying, saying they’d come and then never showing up. When they finally did, the setup was rushed and careless — every product still had visible issues.
