Skrill Restricts My Account After Deposit and Blocks $105 Funds
I am writing regarding a serious issue with my Skrill digital wallet, which occurred on 03/05/2026 in the USA. On that date, I successfully added $105.00 USD to my Skrill account using a prepaid card, and immediately after the funds were accepted and credited, my account was restricted without warning. Since then, I have been stuck in a verification loop. Skrill is asking me to provide a bank statement for the card used, showing my name and address. This is impossible because the payment was made with a prepaid card that does not have a bank account or statements with personal name and address information. The only document that exists is the online statement for the prepaid card, which I have already submitted. However, Skrill keeps rejecting it for not showing name and address, even though such information does not exist for this type of card. I have tried to resolve this through customer support, but I cannot reach a live agent and only get responses from a bot, which keeps repeating the same document request. As a result, my $105.00 USD is effectively blocked despite Skrill having accepted the deposit, and I have no meaningful way to clarify the situation with a real person. I request that Skrill either immediately refund the $105.00 USD back to the original prepaid card or lift the restriction on my account so that I can access and use my funds. I expect this issue to be resolved promptly, without any further impossible document requests for a prepaid card.
After adding money, my account was suddenly restricted and I was asked to provide documents, even though no documents had been requested before. This situation has put me in a constant loop, and my issue is still not resolved.
