I recently bought a 2023 model Skoda Kamiq, and after only a week and 700 km, I got a "Safe CP" error. The authorized service center did a reset that was supposed to fix the problem, but when the car reached 1,500 km, the same error message came up again. Even though it was a brand-new car, it had the same problem twice. During my second trip to the service center, they reset the system again, but since all the warning lights came on at the same time, we can't be sure of the outcome. When I asked the service representative how the airbags would work in case of an accident, they couldn't give me a clear answer. I talked to customer service, and they admitted that this was a widespread problem with no clear date for a correction. I found out that this issue happened six months ago, which makes me wonder why Skoda keeps selling these cars without telling potential buyers about this actual problem. This software problem is not only frustrating, but it also puts my safety at risk.
