Sixt Rental Car Broke Down After 6 Hours – Charged Full Day Despite Mechanical Issue

I rented a car from Sixt on Saturday, November 1, around 11:30 AM, intending to keep it for two days. After driving about 30 kilometers, I parked it. Later in the day, around 5:00 PM, I drove an additional 25 kilometers when the car suddenly stopped while in traffic in Istanbul's Fatih area and refused to restart. I called roadside assistance, and instead of sending help from a nearby location, they dispatched a tow truck from a distant area, forcing me to wait in traffic for over an hour and a half. The vehicle was eventually towed to a service center with me accompanying it.
When I contacted Sixt, they informed me they couldn’t provide a replacement vehicle nearby. They suggested I go all the way to Istanbul Airport to pick up another car, which was highly inconvenient. Ultimately, I was left without a vehicle, despite renting it for two days. Even though I only used the car for six hours before it broke down due to a mechanical issue, Sixt still charged me a full day's rental fee. This is unacceptable, and I expect a refund or compensation for this highly inconvenient experience.
