If your Segway-Ninebot is not reaching the stated top speeds and feels weak when accelerating, there may be several reasons.

🔹 Main causes:

Eco mode or a speed limiter is enabled (on some models, limited to 15–20 km/h).

The battery is discharged or has lost capacity — at low charge, the controller reduces power.

Controller or motor overheating (protection mode lowers speed).

Brakes are too tight and create resistance while riding.

Sensor errors (for example, throttle or controller issues).

🔹 What to try:

Make sure Sport mode is selected (via the button or Ninebot App).

Fully charge the battery and test the scooter again.

Check the brakes — if the pads are rubbing, adjust them.

Connect the scooter to the app — it may display warnings or error codes.

If the speed drops even at 100% charge and with Eco mode off, the battery or controller may need diagnostics.
