Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Inner Screen Failed After Update and Warranty Was Denied
I purchased my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 approximately three months ago through Trendyol’s online store, and I have used the device carefully from day one, always with a protective case. Two days ago, after installing a software update, lines suddenly appeared on the inner screen, and the display became distorted. I then took the phone to an authorized Samsung service center in Pendik, Istanbul. After inspection, the service center claimed that there was a hairline crack on the inner screen, stated that the issue was not covered under warranty, and informed me that as of December 13, 2025, the screen could be repaired for $774.
I do not accept this assessment. The phone has never been dropped, hit, or exposed to any user-caused damage, and it has always been used with a protective case. It is unacceptable for such a crack to occur on the inner screen under these conditions. I request that this screen issue, which appeared after a software update, not be classified as user error, and that the inner screen defect be covered under warranty with the repair completed free of charge. I kindly ask that this matter be properly reviewed and that my grievance be resolved.
