I'm having the same problem with my Samsung 55tu8500 TV. It turns on and off at random, and the problem started shortly after the warranty expired. At regular intervals, the television behaves erratically. As a long-time Samsung user, I've never had this problem before. Reading the reviews, it's clear that many others have similar complaints about this defective product. My Samsung 55tu8500 TV's self-starting and shutting down is extremely inconvenient. These flaws are disheartening, especially given Samsung's reputation for dependability. I hope Samsung recognizes and addresses these recurring problems with their televisions, especially for customers like me who have come to expect a higher standard of quality.
