My Samsung VR7700 Robot Vacuum Won’t Charge Despite Following All Setup Steps

I own a Samsung VR7700 robot vacuum (Lidar model), which I purchased some time ago but didn’t use immediately because I was waiting to move into my new home. Now that I’ve finally settled in, I tried to set it up for the first time—but it won’t charge at all.

I followed every step correctly, even watching detailed setup and troubleshooting videos online to ensure I wasn’t missing anything. The charging dock is placed properly, the contacts are clean, and the robot is aligned correctly, yet there’s no response—no lights, no charging, nothing.

It’s extremely frustrating to experience this kind of issue with a product that was brand new and unused. I expected Samsung to deliver a reliable device, but instead, I’m stuck with a robot vacuum that won’t even power on.
