My Samsung 50TU8000 TV Screen Failed Twice In Two Years

In 2020, I purchased a Samsung 50TU8000 model television. A few months before the two-year warranty period ended, a vertical black line appeared on the screen. Eventually, the screen went completely dark and never turned on again. Since the warranty period had not yet expired, the screen was replaced by the service under warranty. At that time, I asked the service technician why this issue occurred to learn if there was any preventive measure I could take to avoid a recurrence. I was simply told, "These things happen." Now, less than two years after the screen replacement, I am experiencing another issue with the screen. The screen has completely shut off again. While the sound is still working, the screen does not turn on, causing the television to repeatedly try to power itself on and off. In short, the screen has failed once more! I believe the product is defective, despite my trust in the Samsung brand and its quality. In my research online, I have found that hundreds of other users are experiencing similar issues with the same product (50TU8000). As the warranty period has expired, I refuse to accept the ₺500 service fee and the approximately ₺9,000 screen replacement cost that is being requested to fix a recurring problem. I urge Samsung to take responsibility for this defective product in a manner befitting the brand's reputation and to prevent further inconvenience to its customers. Otherwise, I will be compelled to pursue my legal rights through the Consumer Court.
