I am using a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, and I have discovered a serious security issue with the fingerprint reader. On December 11, 2025, at around 4:20 PM, my friend—whose fingerprint is absolutely not registered on my phone—was able to unlock my device using his own fingerprint. After this initial incident, we tested it multiple times, and on every attempt, my friend was again able to unlock the phone with his fingerprint, even though only my fingerprints are registered on the device.
This clearly shows that the fingerprint authentication system on my Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is not functioning reliably and that unauthorized third parties can access my personal data without my consent. This represents a major security vulnerability.
I have not yet contacted Samsung customer service, an authorized service center, or a retail store regarding this issue. However, due to the seriousness of this security flaw and the risks it poses to my personal information and potential financial losses, I request that my device be examined urgently, the root cause of the problem be clearly identified, and that I be compensated for any possible damages. If necessary, I also request a full device replacement.
I expect Samsung to address this matter as soon as possible and to provide me with a detailed explanation of the findings and the solution.
