Salomon X-Ultra Gore-Tex 360 Shoes Are Not Waterproof

I purchased a pair of Salomon X-Ultra Gore-Tex 360 shoes from the SuperStep store at 10 Burda in Balıkesir around November or December of last year, paying approximately $224. Since the shoes were supposed to be waterproof, I purchased them expecting reliable protection from water. However, while using them, I noticed that water was getting in through the front of the shoes.

Because of this issue, I submitted the product for inspection in July, but my claim was rejected twice. Most recently, I submitted the shoes for inspection again on September 15, 2026, and received another negative response approximately 10 days later. Despite this, I was not given a clear explanation regarding the water leakage. The report did not provide any specific reason, and I still have not received a satisfactory response addressing the actual problem.

I cannot accept that a shoe sold with a waterproofing claim allows water to enter through the front, especially after I have submitted the product for inspection multiple times without the issue being properly addressed. I believe the product is defective, and I therefore request a full refund of the purchase price.

If necessary, I am also prepared to provide the inspection report. I ask that my complaint be taken seriously and that an appropriate resolution be provided for the inconvenience and loss I have experienced.
