Salomon Gore-Tex Shoes Soaked My Feet in Minutes—Not Waterproof at All

On February 16, 2025, I purchased a pair of Salomon Gore-Tex shoes from Inter Sports in Ankara Kentpark, specifically for my trip to Scotland. Expecting high-quality waterproof protection, I was shocked when, despite only being outside for a total of 20 minutes in short intervals, my feet were completely soaked!
I didn’t bring another pair of shoes since I trusted the store’s glowing recommendations. Yet, I spent the entire day with wet, freezing feet, ruining my trip. To make matters worse, I also noticed that the front section of the shoe had already started coming apart! I plan to return them with my receipt and box, but I fully expect the store to dismiss my complaint as a “user error.”
This is unacceptable—Salomon must acknowledge the defect and either refund or replace the shoes. If a Gore-Tex shoe can’t even keep out light moisture, what’s the point of buying it? I will not accept excuses. This issue needs to be resolved immediately!
