My Skechers Shoes Developed a Heel Defect and SuperStep Denied My Claim
I purchased a pair of Skechers women’s sports shoes, model 13087 BKRG, size 7.5, from the SuperStep store in Samsun Yeşilyurt AVM on 10.02.2026. Approximately 2.5 months after purchase, a serious problem occurred in the heel area of the shoe. The hard object inside the lining of the heel created an inward bulge, causing discomfort to the point that the shoes can no longer be worn. When I noticed this situation, I took the shoes to the SuperStep store where I bought them. They told me they would send the product for inspection. Following the inspection, my request was rejected on the grounds of “user error.” However, I am certain that this problem is not due to misuse, but rather to a manufacturing defect in the heel structure, because the issue appeared in a very short time and only in the heel part. I have the invoice for the product, and it is still under warranty. I would like this unjust “user error” decision to be reviewed once again, and for my defective Skechers shoes to be replaced with a new pair. I expect this manufacturing defect to be resolved as soon as possible so that I can use the product comfortably.
Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention. Skechers Customer Contact Center
Skechers told me to contact them about the product, but the SuperStep store provided no assistance and my problem is still unresolved.
