Salomon Gore-Tex Shoes Started Leaking After One Year

I purchased a Salomon pair of shoes from the Özdilek Geçit store on June 27, 2025. The shoes featured Gore-Tex technology and were sold as waterproof, and I was specifically told that the product came with a two-year warranty. However, after approximately one year, the shoes started letting water in and no longer appeared to provide the waterproof protection advertised by the Gore-Tex feature.
When the problem occurred, I took the shoes back to the store, and they told me that they had sent them to the company for inspection. The shoes were later returned to me with the explanation that the issue was caused by "user error." However, there are no tears, separation, deformation, or signs of improper use on the exterior of the shoes, so I believe this conclusion was reached without a sufficiently detailed inspection. In order to properly determine whether the shoes are leaking, I understand that they would need to be exposed to water and actually tested for waterproofing, which I do not believe was done.
I cannot accept that a shoe sold as Gore-Tex and waterproof, and backed by a two-year warranty, started leaking within one year and that responsibility was nevertheless placed on me by labeling the issue as "user error." Since I believe the defect may be related to the shoe's fabric and internal construction, I request that the shoes be replaced with an identical new pair. I ask both Özdilek and the relevant company to conduct a proper investigation and take the necessary steps to resolve my complaint.
