I Got Banned on Roblox While the Real Offender Faced No Action

I’m very disappointed in Roblox’s moderation and safety system. During a recent game, another user cursed at me and insulted me first. In response, I said a few things back—not proud of it, but I also immediately reported them for their behavior. To my shock, I was the one who got temporarily banned, while that person is still playing freely with no consequences.

I feel like Roblox's moderation is unfair and inconsistent. Why should I be punished when I was the one being harassed? This kind of moderation only emboldens bullies and discourages victims from speaking up. Roblox should be a safe space for everyone, but instead, I now feel afraid to type messages, even when I’m trying to defend myself.

Roblox, please revise your reporting and enforcement system. This is not the first time someone has been penalized unfairly. You need better moderation and real accountability for those who initiate abuse. I hope you review this and restore trust in your platform for all players.
