I Got Wrongfully Banned on Roblox After Reporting Another Player’s Offensive Behavior

I was playing a regular game session on Roblox when a player suddenly started throwing out random insults and profanities at me for no reason. Shocked by the behavior, I followed platform rules and used the report function to report that player—as they themselves oddly told me to. But to my surprise, I was the one who got banned instead.

It seems like Roblox’s automated ban system flagged me instead of the real offender, possibly misreading the situation or flipping the report outcome. I did nothing wrong, yet now I’m banned as if I was the one being abusive. This is completely unjust.

There is something seriously flawed in how the ban system works—it punished me for reporting bad behavior. I request Roblox to thoroughly review my account, lift this wrongful ban, and implement better moderation tools that actually protect innocent players rather than penalize them. This needs to be fixed immediately.
