I Got Banned on Roblox for a Private Joke While Hateful Players Face No Penalty

Today, my Roblox account (username: mertaliplt3169) was banned for one day due to what the system flagged as an inappropriate conversation with a friend. It was a joke between the two of us, nothing more, yet the platform’s automated moderation system banned me without warning. I’ve been using this account for about four months, during which I’ve made various in-game purchases and spent money on content. Now I can’t access any of it due to this sudden penalty.

What’s more frustrating is that I’ve repeatedly reported users who made serious insults about my family, and those reports have been ignored. Somehow, Roblox seems to ban me instantly for a joking comment, while players using genuinely offensive language are allowed to continue without consequence.

This double standard feels incredibly unfair. I understand receiving a warning for the tone of my message, but an immediate ban without context or human review is not right. I am also concerned that repeated misunderstandings like this could lead to a permanent ban, even though my behavior isn’t malicious.

I urge Roblox to review the ban on my account, consider the full context of conversations, and implement a fairer moderation process that distinguishes between harmful behavior and harmless jokes.
