Reva Astrology Charged Me ₹699 Without My Consent

I recently downloaded and used the Reva Astrology app owned by Mohalla Tech Private Limited. Without my clear consent, an amount of ₹699 was deducted from my bank account via UPI Autopay through PhonePe in favour of Mohalla Tech Private Limited. According to my PhonePe transaction screen, this deduction was processed successfully on 30 October 2026, even though I did not knowingly authorize such a subscription or recurring payment. After noticing this unexpected charge, I immediately cancelled the active UPI Autopay mandate linked to the Reva app to prevent any further deductions. Despite cancelling the mandate, the amount of ₹699 has already been taken from my account for a service or subscription that I did not intentionally activate. I clearly state that I did not give informed consent for this deduction and I consider this transaction unauthorized. I therefore request that Mohalla Tech Private Limited process a full refund of ₹699 to my original payment method urgently, within 1–2 days at the latest, and confirm that no further amounts will be charged in relation to this transaction or mandate.
