Unauthorized Resumaker.ai Subscription Charge On My Card, Request Refund

I recently used Resumaker.ai to create a CV, believing I was making a one-time payment only to download my document. However, I later discovered that I had been signed up for a recurring subscription without my clear and explicit consent. On 28/07/2026, a charge was taken from my debit card for this recurring subscription. I did not knowingly agree to any ongoing paid plan and I consider this transaction to be unauthorized. I contacted Resumaker.ai support about this situation, but I was told that they cannot refund the payment, which I find unacceptable given that I did not intend to purchase a subscription. I request that my recurring subscription be cancelled immediately and that the full amount charged on 28/07/2026 to my debit card be refunded to me. I also ask that my account be updated so that no further charges are taken without my clear and informed consent.
