At no point was it clearly stated that this would turn into an ongoing premium monthly subscription or that I would later be charged 42 USD. I am a student with very limited finances and only needed a simple, short‑term service to apply for jobs, so this situation feels extremely unfair and misleading. On 11 March 2026 at 17:27, I paid 9.90 SEK via PayPal using my Mastercard for what I understood to be a one‑time 14‑day subscription. Then, on 1 April 2026 at 18:27, 42 USD was withdrawn from my account without my clear consent or prior, transparent information that such a charge would occur. I did not see any clear notice about a premium subscription, automatic renewal, or a 42 USD monthly fee at the time of purchase. I consider this lack of clarity very problematic, especially for someone in my position who is just trying to find a job.
