There’s an app called Remini that advertised a 1-week free trial, so I downloaded it—but I never even used it. Despite this, the app has repeatedly withdrawn ₺249.90 from my account every week, without my knowledge or approval. The charges appear in my credit card statement under Apple.com, because my card is saved on my iPhone.
What’s even more frustrating is that my spouse has the same app on an Android phone and has never experienced anything like this. Clearly, because my payment details were stored on my Apple account, Remini was able to charge me silently—without any warnings, receipts, or consent.
I contacted Apple, and they told me these charges can’t be refunded, which is completely unacceptable. I’m now filing a formal complaint against both Remini and Apple. I demand a full refund of every unauthorized payment that has been taken from me. This kind of automatic billing without clear consent is unethical, and I expect immediate action.
