Remington D8700 Hairdryer Replacement Parts Are Not Available
On September 21, 2018, I purchased the Remington D8700 hair dryer, and on November 14, 2023, its rear fan broke and stopped working. I found out that the service is owned by the company AR-TEK. I reported the breakdown, but was told that it is impossible to find this part for the fan. I contacted customer service, explained the situation, and was directed to their service center in Istanbul. There, they required a detailed photo of the fan so that they could possibly send the correct part. I found a company that produces a 3D copy and bought the necessary part. During the installation of the part, we discovered that the motor was also broken. I went back to the service center in Kayseri, but they said there are no motors of this brand and they will install an Arzum brand motor. At this time, I learned that my hair dryer is guaranteed for 5+1 years, so I contacted the service. They said the warranty does not cover this case. I called customer service, and they confirmed that the warranty does not cover it. Nobody clarified that I have a 6-year warranty. When I tried to get warranty repair at the service center, they said the required part is not available. I was directed completely wrong. I spent a lot of effort and money, and now they refuse to take back the product. Such a large company does not support its product.
