Reeder Refused to Refund a Defective Smart Ring Purchase
On 24.05.2026, I purchased a Reeder Reefit smart ring from the Reeder store located in the Vega Shopping Mall in Yalova. While buying the product, the staff had me try on the display ring and told me that the size fit my finger. Based on this information and their assurance, I completed the purchase. However, after I opened the box of the ring I had purchased while still inside the store, I realized that the ring was much too large for my finger. Only then did the staff tell me that these rings actually come in different sizes and that they had not known this before. When I said, “So what are we going to do now? You told me it fit me, but it’s too big,” they replied that the box had already been opened and that there was nothing they could do, and they also stated that they could not accept a return. As a result, I had to leave the store with a ring that is too large for me and effectively unusable, even though I relied on the information and guidance provided by the staff. I find it unacceptable that the wrong direction given by the store personnel leaves the customer unprotected in this way. For this purchase, my invoice number is 0762026000000499. I request that the price of the ring be fully refunded due to the incorrect information and guidance given at the time of sale, and the fact that the product is not suitable for me through no fault of my own.
