I recently purchased the Realme 12 Pro 5G, expecting full support for VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling, as clearly advertised by Realme. However, despite the phone being technically capable, Türk Telekom claims it doesn’t support VoLTE or Wi-Fi calls on this device. This has caused major issues for me, especially at work where mobile signal is weak and I rely heavily on Wi-Fi calling—a feature that worked perfectly fine on my previous phone.
I find it incredibly misleading that Realme promotes these features while they fail to function with one of Turkey’s major carriers. This lack of compatibility renders the phone practically useless in certain environments where mobile signal is unreliable.
I demand a clear explanation and immediate resolution. Either Realme must ensure proper VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling support with Türk Telekom through a firmware update or work with the carrier to certify the device. If not, I expect a refund or exchange, because the device is not delivering the functionality I was promised.
This is not what I paid for. Realme, don’t advertise features your phones can’t use with local carriers. Fix this now.
