Qatar Airways Delayed $800 Refund for Canceled Ticket – No Response for Months

I purchased a flight ticket from Qatar Airways for a trip from Istanbul to Jakarta, which I later converted into a voucher and then canceled. I requested a refund, and after extensive back-and-forth communication, we agreed on the refund terms without any deductions. I asked for the refund to be sent to a different bank account, which they confirmed. They assured me that someone would contact me for the banking details. It has now been 2-3 months, and there has been no follow-up. Despite contacting them daily, I have received no response. Even when I reached out on Instagram, they directed me to Facebook, where they promised to email me, but nothing ever came.

I have never felt so disregarded and frustrated in my life. After months of being ignored, I still haven’t received my refund of nearly $800. I am deeply disappointed and considering filing a formal complaint with international aviation authorities. I am in a terrible position, needing to buy another ticket with no refund in sight. The lack of Turkish-speaking customer service representatives adds to the frustration, and I feel completely abandoned by Qatar Airways.
