Profilo Washing Machine Faulty Motherboard


I'd like to tell you about my frustrating experience with a washing machine I bought on December 8, 2022. The machine broke down less than a year after I bought it. I called for help because I had no idea what was wrong, and they arrived the next day. After inspecting the machine, they informed me that the mainboard had been burned out and that they did not have the replacement part in stock, but that they would order it. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the part had arrived and that they wanted to install it. At this point, I requested either a replacement machine or, if available, an upgrade to a higher model with me covering the difference in price. However, during my call with a lady named B**, she said they couldn't do that and asked if there was any guarantee that the machine wouldn't have the same problem in a year. She was rude and unhelpful, and she eventually ended the call by saying they couldn't help me. Surprisingly, they claimed the problem was with the electrical components, and the service personnel who came to install the part tried to sell me a surge protector, implying a recurring problem. When I asked the authorized service about the cause of the problem, they simply said, "There's nothing we can do; it happens in 1 out of 100 machines, and you happened to be that one." This entire experience has demonstrated Profilo's lack of professionalism and indifference, including authorized service, customer service, and installation personnel. They appear to be more interested in selling add-ons than in providing solutions, which is one of the reasons I will not use Profilo in the future. I'll keep working on this until I get a satisfactory resolution.

I had filed a complaint about the washing machine from the brand Profilo yesterday. Thankfully, they responded within the day today. However, even the lady on the other end of the line was surprised by what happened. She reacted with phrases like "Did this happen too?" or "Did they say this as well?" but continued to speak in their usual manner, not focusing on solutions. They reiterated that there is no replacement and if we get back to them, they will try to repair the device, still not admitting that their device is problematic and that they can't do anything about it. Profilo had a slogan: durable home appliances, but unfortunately, it has once again become clear that they say this just for the sake of it. Do not be deceived by the slogan and definitely avoid buying and using the device shown in the image below because it is not a durable home appliance.
