Bosch Damaged My Trust After Rust Problems With My Washing Machine

The further Bosch moves away from quality and reliability, the more it damages its brand value. I learned this lesson through the washing machine I purchased in 2023. When I called customer service about the rust and swelling that appeared on the machine, I quickly realized the kind of problems I would face. The first issue: the customer service representative told me that if there was no malfunction or if it was considered user error, I would have to pay a ₺700 service fee. I refused and stated that I would not pay such a fee. When the technician came, they admitted that the rust on the front panel and detergent compartment was their fault and covered under warranty, but blamed the body rust on me, claiming it was due to environmental factors. If it’s due to the environment, why are the front panel and detergent compartment issues not my fault too? And if the panel and detergent compartment are their responsibility, how is the rust and swelling on the body not their responsibility? I now understand what regret truly means. How can a brand lower its own value this much? It seems that German quality and discipline do not exist at Bosch. I used a Profilo brand machine, which is also yours, for eight years in the same environment, and there was not a single spot of rust. This shows how much you actually care about product quality. Loss of trust is a far greater issue than loss of money.
