I Transferred Money from Preply to Payoneer but It’s Missing and Neither Side Helps
I transferred money from Preply to my Payoneer account, but it has now been over a week, and the funds are still not showing up in my Payoneer balance. I’ve contacted both platforms multiple times, and all I get is an endless loop of blame-shifting.
Payoneer says there’s no pending transfer and that my account may not be connected properly to Preply. They keep asking me for transfer details, which I don’t have because Preply won’t provide them. Every time I reach out to Preply, they simply tell me, “We can’t trace this payment, talk to Payoneer.”
I’m completely stuck. I’ve spoken to both sides separately, explained everything, and still no resolution. The money has vanished, and no one is taking responsibility.
I demand immediate action from both Preply and Payoneer to trace this missing transaction and get my money into my account. I’ve waited long enough — fix this now.
They just keep redirecting to each other. If payment cannot be received via Payoneer, why is there such an option? If my payment has not yet been withdrawn by anyone, meaning it has not been processed, why can't it be refunded? I'm thinking of canceling my active courses and leaving now, all my efforts are going to waste.

It is possible to receive payments via Payoneer; however, it is extremely important that our users ensure the account information they provide when withdrawing money from Preply is absolutely correct and up to date. For example: If a withdrawal is made to Payoneer Account A and this account exists (active or old), the system considers the money transfer as completed. From this point on, Preply does not have the ability to cancel or reverse the transfer. The same applies to PayPal. In your case, the payment was successfully processed by Preply and has reached Payoneer. However, since the payment has not been fully processed into the relevant account on Payoneer’s side, the process is currently under Payoneer’s control.
