Poco F8 Ultra Has 120Hz Frame Pacing Problems

I have been using my Poco F8 Ultra for approximately one week, and I have been experiencing a frustrating issue with the screen refresh rate, particularly while gaming. When I use the phone in 120Hz mode through the system settings, the gameplay does not feel as smooth as I would expect. Instead, I notice obvious stuttering and a rough feeling during movement.

What is particularly interesting is that when I switch the display refresh rate to 60Hz, the gameplay appears much more consistent and stable. I am not referring only to occasional drops in the FPS counter. Overall, it feels as though frames are not being displayed at consistent intervals, suggesting a possible issue with frame pacing and synchronization between the refresh rate and FPS. Even when the FPS value appears high in a game while 120Hz is enabled, the actual visual smoothness does not seem to reflect that performance.

For a device like the Poco F8 Ultra, which is specifically marketed around high performance and a 120Hz gaming experience, it is a serious inconsistency for 120Hz mode to feel less smooth and less stable than 60Hz. I do not know whether the issue is related to the device's display management, HyperOS refresh rate and FPS management, Game Turbo, or another software optimization problem. However, I believe there is a strong possibility that this is software-related.

I would like the device's actual screen refresh rate, FPS values, frame times, and frame pacing behavior during gaming to be technically tested together. If the problem is caused by software optimization, I request that it be identified and fixed in future HyperOS updates.
