I use a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, which officially supports 120FPS, but I’m extremely disappointed with how it performs during gaming. When I launch a game, I initially get smooth 120FPS for the first few seconds — but then it suddenly drops to 70–80FPS, and sometimes it even goes as low as 60FPS. This ruins the entire gameplay experience, especially for fast-paced games where frame rate consistency is crucial.
I’ve spent hours searching online, checking forums, Reddit threads, and tech sites, but shockingly, no one seems to mention this issue. Am I the only one experiencing this? Is it a software limitation, thermal throttling, or a performance cap imposed by Xiaomi?
I would truly appreciate help from anyone who has a solution or explanation. And Xiaomi — if this is a known issue, you need to step up and fix it. You advertise this phone with 120FPS gaming, but the actual performance doesn’t match the claim. Please release an update or give users proper support to resolve this frustrating FPS drop issue.
