Pocket eSIM Did Not Work in Northern Cyprus
I purchased an eSIM from Pocket eSIM for use in Northern Cyprus from March 13 to March 15, paying 119.50 TL (approximately $2). My device is an iPhone 14 Pro Max. When I activated the line, my phone showed a 3G connection, but I was completely unable to access the internet. Although the 3G indicator appeared occasionally, the internet connection would completely stop, and I was unable to use mobile data at all.
Even though I was unable to actually use the service, I was told that a refund could not be issued because the eSIM appeared as active in the system and that I had “used the service.” However, I had no internet access at any point during my trip and was unable to benefit from the service I purchased in any way. The ICCID number associated with the line is 8943108167002689843.
I am requesting a full refund of the $2 I paid for this eSIM, which I was unable to use despite paying for it. I also request that Pocket eSIM review its technical checks and customer support procedures to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
