Disparity In Service Pricing And The Front Panel Fee For Philips TVs
When an earthquake cracked the front panel of my Philips TV, I was not pleased with the service I received. I called your service and was told the cost to replace the panel would be close to the price of a new television set (around 12,000 TL). The panel was estimated to cost 12,000 TL by your service, but a different repairman quoted me 6,000 TL. Given the price discrepancy, I have to conclude that your business is not being operated honestly. As a longtime Philips customer, I believe your service prices should be more transparent. In a time of crisis, such as an earthquake, it would be dishonest to mislead customers about the true cost of TV front-panel repair. As such, I am requesting that Philips investigate this and take any necessary measures to prevent it from happening again. Equally important to me is finding an open and honest solution to this issue.
