Peugeot Service Center Keeps Customer Waiting 6.5 Hours for a Warranty Battery Replacement
On October 16, 2026, I scheduled an appointment at 11:00 a.m. with Peugeot Balaban Antalya Service to have the battery in my Peugeot 408 replaced under warranty. When I arrived, I specifically explained that I was moving house that day and asked them not to keep me waiting under any circumstances. I had already experienced an unnecessary delay during my previous service appointment because they forgot to take my car in for maintenance, leaving me waiting for hours. Unfortunately, I experienced a similar situation again today. When I called around noon, I was told that my car would not be ready until approximately 5:30 p.m. In other words, despite having an appointment and needing only a simple battery replacement covered by the warranty, my car had already been at the service center for six and a half hours, and I was still being made to wait.
On top of that, despite repeatedly calling to request updates, I never receive a callback. My calls go unanswered, and no one keeps me informed about the progress of the service. While the sales team was extremely attentive and helpful when I was purchasing the vehicle, I have received none of the same care or attention from the service department. I am disappointed by the indifferent and dismissive attitude of the service staff, who seem to show little regard for their customers.
I expect the service center to honor scheduled appointment times, avoid keeping customers waiting for hours over simple procedures like this, return calls whenever customers request updates, and make the necessary improvements to ensure that the same level of attention and care demonstrated by the sales team is also provided by the service department.
