Peugeot Gave Me a Used Engine Cover After Timing Belt Service
25

On July 16, 2025, the timing belt set of my Peugeot 3008 was replaced at the authorized Konya Özkaymak Peugeot service center. About a week later, when I opened the hood to refill the windshield washer fluid, I noticed that the engine cover was missing. When I contacted the service center, they firmly denied having forgotten the part. I then filed a complaint with Peugeot’s authorized customer service, and a case was opened by the service center regarding the issue. A few days later, I received a call from Konya Özkaymak Peugeot stating that the part had been forgotten in the warranty department and that I should visit the service center. However, when I arrived, they presented me with a used engine cover that clearly did not belong to my vehicle. Upon objecting, they brought another part that was also unrelated to my car. I objected again and was told that I would be contacted in the following days. Despite a week passing, I received no follow-up. I contacted Peugeot customer service once again and was assured that a new, original engine cover would be installed by the authorized service center. On July 31, 2025, I visited the Özkaymak Peugeot service center again, but once more, I left empty-handed after the same issues repeated. I now formally request that Peugeot Turkey address my grievance seriously and provide a brand new, original engine cover for my vehicle without further delay. I also ask that an internal investigation be conducted to prevent similar issues in the future, and that the financial and emotional losses I have suffered throughout this process be duly compensated.
