Peugeot 3008 – Factory Defect and Huge Disappointment!

Peugeot Turkey is failing its customers! I purchased a 2023 Peugeot 3008 GT as a brand new car and have regularly had it serviced at authorized Peugeot service centers. However, before the recent service, I noticed a significant defect. There was a visible gap around the air vent area on the front dashboard. When I took the car to the service, we inspected it with the service staff and took photos. The defect was confirmed to be a manufacturing fault. The Peugeot service team informed me that the issue could not be repaired and that the entire front dashboard would need to be replaced. What does this mean? The part, which was perfectly assembled by robots at the factory, will now be disassembled by technicians and reassembled by hand. This will compromise the integrity of the car, potentially cause rattles, and may lead to other issues in the future! Why should I accept a car, bought as new, that is being taken apart and reassembled like a used one? And what did Peugeot Turkey offer as a solution? Only a free service maintenance! They completely ignored the depreciation of my car, the inconvenience I’ve experienced, and the potential future issues. It is unacceptable that a brand new vehicle is sent out with such a fault! To anyone considering buying a Peugeot, beware: they shift responsibility for factory defects onto the customer and do not stand behind their product! Peugeot’s approach to customer satisfaction is a complete illusion! If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate this complaint across all platforms and pursue legal action!
