Pegasus Staff Shouted Over 8kg Cabin Bag On the Flight

On 30.11.2025, before my PC2771 Rize–Artvin to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen flight, I experienced a very disturbing incident with your Pegasus ground staff at Rize–Artvin Airport. We were a total of six people traveling as a family, and we had only one cabin-size suitcase within standard measurements. During check-in and baggage drop, the staff member insisted unnecessarily that this suitcase be checked in and acted as if an extra fee would be required. Our suitcase weighed 8 kilograms. Despite this, the staff member began arguing with us, raised her voice, yelled at us, and used offensive and humiliating language in front of everyone, which deeply upset us. Although we did not pay any extra fee, the argument and the staff member’s rude and disrespectful attitude made us feel extremely embarrassed and belittled in front of other passengers. When we boarded the plane and saw that the other passengers’ cabin bags were the same size as ours, we realized that the incident resulted entirely from the staff member’s arbitrary and improper behavior. The behavior of your slim, blonde female staff member—whose name I do not know—was highly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress throughout our travel. As a passenger who chooses your airline regularly and flies almost every month, I do not find this incident acceptable. I request that a proper investigation be conducted regarding the staff member involved and that the appropriate disciplinary process be initiated so that I can continue choosing Pegasus with confidence. I kindly request that this incident be taken seriously and that I be informed of the outcome.
