Pegasus Changed My Return Date After Payment and Charged a Fee

On 30 June 2026, I purchased a round‑trip ticket between Kayseri and Izmir via Pegasus’ official website, with the departure on 6 July and the return on 21 July. At every step of the purchase process, I carefully checked the dates, especially after entering my card details and before confirming the payment, and the return date was always displayed as 21 July. However, after I confirmed the payment, the return date in the system suddenly appeared as 28 July. Although this situation clearly resulted from a system error, I was the one who was left aggrieved. As soon as I noticed the problem, I called Pegasus customer service. During the call, they did not accept the possibility of an error in their system and placed all the responsibility on me, stating that I would have to pay a date change fee of ₺1,164 to move the return date back to 21 July. In the end, even though I made no mistake, I was forced to pay this amount just to correct the ticket date. I also experienced the same type of system error during the ticket search phase. Although I initially selected 21 July as the date, on the next page the system automatically shifted the date to 21 August. I noticed this and corrected it at that stage. Despite this, during the actual purchase process, the return date continued to appear correctly on the screen as 21 July until I gave final approval, yet after payment it shifted to 28 July. Because of this date error originating from Pegasus’ own system, I lost both time and money and was unfairly forced to pay a date change fee. I request that the issue I experienced be examined in detail, that this system error be acknowledged, and that the ₺1,164 date change fee collected from me be refunded. Due to the loss of trust I suffered in this process, I no longer consider purchasing tickets from Pegasus, which I had previously preferred for all my flights.
