Pegasus Airlines Duplicate Ticket And SMS Fee
On 01.03.2026, I purchased a ticket from Pegasus Airlines for the Trabzon–Çukurova flight dated 24.03.2026 with PNR code 1RRPN5, and I also paid an additional fee to receive SMS notifications. However, I did not receive any SMS notification regarding this reservation. When we called customer service to ask whether the ticket purchase had been completed, we were informed that the transaction had timed out, the ticket had not been issued, and the amount would be refunded to my credit card. Despite calling customer service many times until 06.03.2026, my refund was not processed. During this period, since we were told that the first ticket purchase had failed, we bought another ticket on the same route for the Trabzon–Çukurova 11:25 flight dated 28.03.2026 with PNR code 1S4YVE, and thus we ended up with two tickets for the same direction. Later, we saw that the first ticket had in fact been issued and that two tickets and two SMS fees had been charged to us. Although ₺29.90 was charged per SMS, no SMS notification was sent for either of these reservations. The SMS fees are not invoiced separately; the tickets were created through the Pegasus system and no additional invoice or document apart from these electronic tickets was provided to me. Due to the incorrect information provided by customer service regarding the reservation with PNR 1RRPN5 and the SMS service that was never delivered, I have suffered a loss because of the unused ticket and the SMS fees for a service I did not receive. I request that the fee of the unnecessary second ticket and the amounts collected for the undelivered SMS notifications, related to my reservations with PNR codes 1RRPN5 and 1S4YVE, be fully refunded to me.
