An unauthorized transaction was made on my Yapı Kredi credit card without my knowledge or consent. On December 1, 2025, around 3:53 PM, a $9 charge appeared on my card statement from a merchant listed as “SGT*thepdfaid”, processed via virtual POS and showing the location Limassol, Cyprus. In the transaction details, the merchant ID appears as 5265*******22**.
My card has always been physically in my possession, and I did not authorize this transaction at the specified date and time. I did not purchase any goods or services from this merchant. The statement on the slip saying “I received goods/services in exchange for this amount” is completely false.
I want to clearly state that this transaction occurred without my authorization and against my will. I request that Yapı Kredi urgently investigate this unauthorized $9 charge, formally accept my dispute, and refund the amount to me. I also request that all necessary security checks and precautions be taken regarding my card information and that my account be thoroughly reviewed to prevent a similar issue from happening again.
