PDF Guru Charged Renewal After Trial Without Clear Consent
I am writing to report an unauthorized renewal and charge on the PDF Guru website. I initially accepted only a trial and used the page on 27 April 2026, after which I did not use the service again. Despite this, on 26 May 2026 an automatic renewal was made without my consent and 29.99 dollars were debited from my debit card in Bolivia. At no time did I expressly authorize a paid subscription or a renewal, and I was not clearly informed that the trial would become a paid plan with automatic charges. I was advised to delete my account to avoid further debits, which I did, but I still have the invoice and the bank statement showing the charge of 29.99 dollars on 26 May 2026. I request a full refund of the 29.99 dollars charged without my consent, as well as the complete cancellation of any subscription associated with my data. I also ask for written confirmation that the subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be made to my debit card.
