PDF Guru Unauthorized PayPal Subscription Charge Complaint

I am writing regarding an unauthorized charge made by PDF Guru to my PayPal account. I was charged $49.99 on May 1, 2026 for a monthly subscription that I never knowingly agreed to or confirmed. On April 24, 2026, I made what I understood to be a one‑time purchase for a single design within PDF Guru. At no point did I intend to upgrade to, subscribe to, or confirm any kind of recurring monthly subscription. Despite this, I have now been charged $49.99 for a monthly plan without my permission or clear consent. I request a full refund of the $49.99 that was charged on May 1, 2026 and the immediate cancellation of any active or future subscription associated with my account, so that I will not be charged again. I also ask that you ensure my account is not enrolled in any subscription going forward unless I explicitly and clearly authorize it. I expect this issue to be resolved promptly and the refund to be processed back to my PayPal account.
