Paytm Charged Extra Convenience Fee and Made Me Pick Up Concert Tickets

49

I had a terrible experience purchasing concert tickets through Paytm. I paid ₹12,000 for two premium tickets, only to be charged a further ₹780 as a convenience fee—not exactly expressed up front. To exacerbate the situation, I was advised I had to personally pick up the tickets at a site across the city instead of getting e-tickets or a home delivery option. This negates the whole intent of internet booking! When I contacted Paytm about a refund of the extra charges or at least an explanation, I got evasive answers and no resolution. It is appalling lack of openness and client service. Paytm is not advised for booking any event tickets.
