Paytm Did Not Credit My Cashback Despite Multiple Follow-Ups
I wish to highlight areas that need development for both present and future users by sharing my recent annoying Paytm experience. My problems centre on Paytm's cashback rules. I took part in a promotional campaign whereby a purchase made on the Paytm app guaranteed a ₹500 reward. I discovered, nevertheless, that the cashback did not show up in my wallet following the purchase. I contacted customer service and was advised the money will be credited in 48 hours. Days stretched into weeks, and even with multiple follow-ups, I never heard anything. To aggravate matters further, the support staff just answered with scripted responses without providing any workable remedy. This lack of openness and reactivity depresses me and makes me doubt whether I could keep utilising Paytm's services. Dealing with these issues will help to raise platform user trust and happiness.
