I Paid Money for a Paysera International Transfer but My Money Never Arrived in 40 Days
Dear Paysera Support,
I am writing to report a serious issue with an international money transfer I initiated using the Paysera app. The transaction took place on May 20, 2024, at 14:16, for an amount of €107. I sent the funds from my LT84 3500 0100 **** 5918 account under the name Recep K. to Recep K. in Turkey, at Garanti Bank (IBAN: TR43 0006 2000 7880 **** 99).
It has now been over 40 days, and the money still hasn’t reached the recipient’s account. I contacted Paysera support, but they only sent back a generic receipt without any valid MTCN or tracking number, claiming the transaction was completed.
Even worse, despite having already paid £7 in transfer fees, they now expect me to pay an additional £22 to have the transaction “checked.” This feels like extortion—“we won’t send your money unless you pay more.”
I demand that Paysera either complete the transfer or refund the full amount including the original fee. Your lack of accountability and transparency is deeply disappointing. Please resolve this issue urgently and stop putting the burden of your errors on your customers.
