PayPal Cancellation And Refund Of Unauthorized Transaction/Renewal

I am writing regarding an unauthorized renewal and charge made by Avast to my PayPal account without my consent. On 6 March 2026, Avast processed a renewal linked to Order ID AVAP1676643278 and PayPal Transaction ID 0CR82879N6169072G, even though I was not informed in advance and did not approve this payment. This transaction was carried out via my PayPal account and I only became aware of it after seeing the charge. I did not receive clear advance notice about an upcoming renewal, nor did I knowingly agree to have this subscription renewed automatically in this way. I request that this unauthorized renewal be cancelled immediately and that the full amount charged on 6 March 2026 be refunded to my PayPal account. I also ask that any automatic renewal on my Avast account be disabled so that such a situation does not occur again in the future.
