I am writing regarding two unauthorized charges of $29.99 each that appeared on my PayPal account under the description *“PAYPAL HINT APP 3ZL7O4029357733 DE US.” I am based in Latvia, and I have never knowingly subscribed to, purchased, or used any service related to this “Hint App.”
The most recent charge occurred today, March 10, 2026, at around 5:30 a.m., and I had a similar $29.99 charge previously with the same description. Before these larger charges appeared, I had also been charged by an app for less than one dollar, which I did not pay much attention to at the time, but I now believe may have been a test charge related to the same issue.
These repeated charges are unacceptable and extremely concerning, as I do not recognize this merchant or any subscription connected to it.
I request that PayPal and the Hint App merchant urgently investigate these payments as unauthorized, cancel any subscription or recurring payment that may have been created in my name without my clear consent, and issue a full refund for all $29.99 charges, as well as any related smaller test charges.
I also request that my account be protected from any further attempts to charge me for this or similar services, since I never agreed to these payments and find this situation extremely frustrating.
Finally, I expect a clear explanation of how these charges were initiated, along with written confirmation once the subscription has been canceled and the refunds have been processed.
