I purchased a suspension kit from Partsgeek for my 2013 Mercedes-Benz E350 4Matic on November 10th. When it arrived, everything appeared to match closely with the original parts, so I had it installed a couple of weeks later. The parts were almost identical to the originals, which is why nothing unusual was noticed at the time; if there had been anything clearly wrong or incompatible, I would never have installed them. After installation, the suspension was completely off, and the vehicle did not drive correctly. To understand the problem, we removed and measured the parts and discovered that each control arm in the kit was a different length compared to the original ones on my car. This made it clear that the kit Partsgeek sent me was not actually correct for my vehicle, even though it initially looked like it would fit and could be installed without obvious issues. Their system shows that this kit is compatible with my car, but in reality, it is not. I contacted Partsgeek customer service to request a return and refund, but my request was denied on the grounds that the parts had already been installed. In my view, this is unfair because there was no way to realize the parts were incorrect without installing them, as they physically fit into place and appeared to be correct on visual inspection. Only after installation and proper measurement did it become clear that they were the wrong parts. I also opened a dispute with PayPal, but they closed the case for the same reason, stating that the items had been installed. I am now left with a suspension kit that is not suitable for my car and has caused issues with my vehicle. I am requesting that Partsgeek reconsider this situation and provide me with a full refund for the incorrect suspension kit. I am willing to cover the labor costs myself; I am only asking to be refunded for the parts that were sent incorrectly for my 2013 Mercedes-Benz E350 4Matic.
