I Canceled My Parship Account But Got Charged A Year Later

I signed up for Parship looking for a good time, but things went bad very early. I terminated my profile and contract right away when I realized the platform wasn't suited for me. I didn't want to keep going because it didn't live up to my expectations. I thought everything was closed off at the moment. But almost a year later, I was shocked to get a charge for another full year of payments. They insisted that I hadn't canceled correctly and demanded payment when I called them, even though I know I did everything right. Sadly, I had removed the confirmation of the cancellation, thus I had no documentation. It seems unjust and makes me feel like I was tricked. I wish I had never signed up and would never use Parship again.
