I’ve been using my Oppo A5s for the past 5 years, and up until now, it has served me well. However, just yesterday, the phone suddenly stopped allowing access to the camera. Every time I try to open the camera app, it displays the message: “Camera access failed.” I tried multiple times, but the issue persists no matter what I do.
Thinking it might be a storage issue, I deleted several apps and cleared space, including photo-related apps. But even after freeing up space, the problem was not resolved. There’s still plenty of available storage, so that clearly isn’t the root cause.
I rely heavily on my camera for both personal and work use, and this sudden malfunction is extremely frustrating. Oppo, if your device fails after a few years with no viable fix, what message does that send about your long-term product reliability? I request that you offer a real solution or guidance on repair or reset steps, because right now, the phone’s main feature is completely unusable. Please respond urgently and take ownership of this issue.
