Opel Vivaro Repair Has Been Stuck For Months Because Of Spare Part Shortage
We are experiencing a serious and ongoing issue related to spare part supply for our company vehicle, a 2025 Opel Vivaro with license plate 06 F** 933 and chassis number VXEVLEHZ1SU30***92, under an insurance claim handled by Anadolu Sigorta.
Following the accident that occurred on 18.02.2026, an insurance claim file numbered 1619667725 0001 was opened on 23.02.2026 through Anadolu Sigorta, and our vehicle was delivered to the authorized Yılmaz Oto service center in Maslak, Istanbul for repairs.
However, the repair process could not be completed because the required left rear fender part has still not been supplied. Although the vehicle was temporarily returned to us, it remains effectively unusable due to the incomplete repair. According to the information provided to us, Opel Türkiye has still not supplied the necessary spare part.
This vehicle is actively used in our commercial operations, and this prolonged spare part shortage has directly caused business interruption, operational difficulties, and significant financial losses for our company. The excessive delay has severely damaged our trust in Opel’s after-sales service quality, and the inability to supply a basic body part for such an extended period is completely unacceptable.
Despite contacting Opel Türkiye multiple times through email correspondence and phone calls, no concrete solution has been presented, and the spare part supply and repair process still remain unresolved. Unfortunately, the extent of the delay has now reached a level where our commercial losses may become legally claimable.
We urgently request a clear and definitive delivery timeline for the missing left rear fender part, immediate prioritization of the shipment process, and all necessary actions to accelerate the repair completion of our vehicle.
Otherwise, we would like to formally state that we reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including claims for compensation for the damages and commercial losses we have suffered due to this delay. We request that this matter be handled with urgency and that we receive a written response as soon as possible.
